Food systems are harming human and planetary health. Technological innovations are at-the-ready to transform food systems. But are food system actors willing to change?

We believe that citizens hold great power for food systems change. Our research projects bring together life, physical and social sciences to quantify food system dynamics from ‘fork to farm’.

Communication is key. We share information on sustainable food systems with citizens, fellow researchers and policymakers through events and a range of media.

Interdisciplinary work means there is no one expert in the room. Our group represents life, physical and social scientists working together on shared visions for future food systems.

How do actors with multiple agendas and motivations work together to achieve social, economic and environmental sustainability? We’re using AI and social science to find out!

We’re recruiting citizens for a survey and focus groups on what sustainable food systems mean to them. Click here to find out more.
